Dennis has his MFA from Indiana University in Directing and is a graduate from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC. During his sixteen-plus years in NYC, Dennis worked as an actor, director, and producer. His acting credits include Off-Broadway, soaps, industrials, commercials, film and TV. Dennis was Artistic Director and Co-Founder of The Original Cast, a non-profit theatre company in NYC, for whom he directed the world premiere of The Days and Nights of an Ice Cream Princess and served as Company Manager for the Off-Broadway production of Olympus on My Mind. For the past 20 years he has taught acting and directing at The University of Southern Indiana, The University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Indiana University and Butler University. Most recent acting roles for Dennis include Willy in The Sunshine Boys, Virgil in Bus Stop, and Grandpa in The Grapes of Wrath.
