Kim has been involved in theater since her middle school days where she began her theatrical journey in the performing arts magnet at Shortridge Jr. High. Kim joined the Terre Haute theater scene two years ago in the Community Theater’s production of Barnum, where she played the role of 160-year-old Joice Heth. In the summer of 2016, Kim became “big, blonde & beautiful” as Motormouth Maybelle in the MAUMC production Hairspray. Kim was the winner of the WTHI Night at the Grammy’s karaoke contest, winning the opportunity to attend the 2016 Grammy Awards. She played the Blues Speak Woman in Theater 7’s production, Spunk. She has great appreciation for her family and friends that support her endeavors and looks forward to a long standing relationship with the theater!
